Orias is a newly born deity, conceived spontaneously during the 11th of Silly, Year 50. She holds dominion over Stars and Fate, and belongs to no Pantheon. No current notable myth, stories or events have transpired.

Description

Orias takes the form of a large woman with pitch black skin, usually perceived to have featureless faces. She has long white hair and wears white robes with gold accents. She also often is surrounded by stardust, and is described to have a calming aura to her.

Personality

Orias is a kind goddess, one who is willing to lend a hand to those in need. She cares deeply for mortals, as if they were all her children, and wishes to create a world free from suffering and cruelty. However this may make her seem naive and deluded, a ditzy moronic deity with a hope that can never truly be realized due to the constant ever-changing nature of the world and the gods.

She is creative. Her creative ability stems into all the arts, from painting to singing. She is an enjoyer of the creative arts, and wishes to use the love of creativity as a focus for her desired paradise. However she loathes when people use the creative arts for personal gain, such as using the skill of acting to deceive others. She also is quick to punish and condemn those who wish to stifle the creative arts.

She is calm and serene, often silently guiding those who ask for her help and helping them find contentment. She embodies the very essence of the calming starry sky, silently observing the worlds and directing the mortals in a similar fashion that the true star sky guides mortals with directions.

She promotes healing and spiritual growth, believing one's spiritual journey to be an important aspect to their personal growth as an individual.

But just as she embodies the guiding virtues of the stars she too embodies the erratic nature of the wheels of fate.

Orias is of the belief that all actions must have consequences. As a result she can seem cruel in many of her punishments, regardless of whether she decides to explain them or not. She is willing to destroy whole nations as punishment for greed, and believes everything has a consequence. As well as this she too believes the actions of the few can result in the punishment of the many, making her seem more like a cruel silent sadistic god then a calm nurturing one. These dual aspects to her personality prevent mortals from truly grasping her overall personality. But overall she is; Calm, serene and a force of guidance and creativity. But so too can she be cruel and vindictive to those she deemed to be troublemakers.

Origin

She has no previous lives, and was conceived purely from the essence of Gaia.
